Welcome!
Welcome to this Coping With Stress course. I’m delighted you are joining us!
The content that you will go through will support you to reduce stress and to increase a sense of physical, mental and emotional well-being. It will also provide you with a wide variety of tools that you can use in a quick and easy way each day to build up a healthy and manageable self-care routine, to increase your wellbeing and to build your life vitality.
Here are some important things to remember on this course:
For extra support, you have access to a wonderfully supportive (private) Facebook group called Optimal Wellbeing with Helen O’Flinn. Please head over there and request to join. It would be really great to connect with you.
For each part of the course, you have access to a workbook with practical exercises to complete to support you with your daily wellbeing and self-care.
You will receive tips, techniques and tools to use to support your wellbeing in a positive way. It is encouraged to use these as regularly as possible. The more they are used, the bigger the impact will be on your wellbeing.
How to get the most from this course
Print the relevant course guide workbook before you start each part of the course, so that you can record your notes as you go through each section. To save on paper, you can also just download each workbook and type directly into the text boxes provided in each section.
You will be guided as to when to complete the different wellbeing exercises within each course section. Each video/audio will let you know when to pause so that you can complete the exercises that are provided. This allows you to go at your own pace as you go through the programme.
Think about how you can apply the things you are learning in each section to your everyday life. Make a note of these as you go. Each of us has a uniqueness that we bring to this world and each of us will have a way that we can fit these exercises into our lives in a way that fits best for us. You will find the way that is the perfect fit for you.
A space has been retained at the right-hand side of each page in each workbook. This is for you to write down notes as ideas/inspirations/things to do, etc., pop into your head. That way you can write them down and come back to the exercises and the wellbeing section that you are completing. You will then have your side notes there to take back up when you are ready.
